DL Titanium Chime Push Card - Three-Tone, Quick-Release Body

A Slider You Hear as Well as Feel

The body carries a tone track - a brass rail set into titanium - so the stroke produces a chime instead of a mute slide. Three tones are built into the track, and where you stop along it decides which one you get.

Quick-Release

The body comes apart without tools. That is not a gimmick: it means you can clean the track, and swap or re-seat parts without sending it back to anyone. On a piece with a tone rail, being able to clean the rail is what keeps the sound consistent.

Titanium, Engraved

The titanium body is surface-engraved in multiple colours - the colour is worked into the metal, not painted on. Brass is used for the tone track because of how it rings.

Why Brass for the Track

Brass has been used for tone components for a reason: it holds a clear, sustained ring where steel tends to sound thin. Putting a brass rail inside a titanium body gets you the ring without the weight of an all-brass piece.

How to use: Push the plate along the body. Stop at different points on the track to get different tones.
